Formula Used:

Kinetic energy (\( KE \)) is calculated using the formula:

\[ KE = \frac{1}{2} m v^2 \]

Where:

  • \( KE \): Kinetic energy (Joules, J)
  • \( m \): Mass (kg)
  • \( v \): Velocity (m/s)

Example: If mass \( m = 10 \) kg and velocity \( v = 5 \) m/s, then:

\[ KE = \frac{1}{2} \cdot 10 \cdot 5^2 = \frac{1}{2} \cdot 10 \cdot 25 = 125 \, \text{J} \]
